About Us

Our Combined Approach

Next Chapters Wellness Society is a registered non-profit in BC dedicated to providing free and low-cost mental health support, education, and counseling services to individuals facing psychological distress. We focus on emotional resilience, relationship repair, and community well-being. We are currently applying for charitable status with the Canada Revenue Agency. At this time, we are unable to issue tax receipts for donations.

Together, we embark on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and positive change with our clients. Whether you’re facing mental health challenges, navigating the  healthcare system, or simply entering a new chapter in your life, we’re here to provide the support and resources you need.

Our Founders

Mac McMillan

Welcome to our practice! I’m Mac McMillan, a dedicated therapist based in the beautiful town of Kimberley, BC, and a Professional Member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).

With over three decades of experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. My passion lies in helping people:

  • Break free from addictive thinking and behaviors
  • Build stronger, more fulfilling relationships
  • Navigate through anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief

My approach is rooted in practicality and empowerment. I believe in equipping you with tangible steps and exercises that foster healing, learning, and growth—emotionally, mentally, and relationally.

Paige Lennox

A patient advocacy service was born from the inspiration of its Founder and CEO, Paige Lennox. With 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Paige witnessed firsthand the impact limited resources and overworked healthcare professionals have on patient care.

Paige’s journey took a personal turn when her mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness. During this challenging time, Paige realized she wanted to cherish her role as a daughter, rather than solely as a caregiver. This experience illuminated the struggles faced by thousands of Canadians every day in similar situations.

Motivated by these profound experiences, Paige established Canadian Health Advocates with a clear mission: to support individuals and their families throughout their healthcare journeys. Our role is to pair patients with health advocates who offer the highest quality support, allowing patients to focus on their recovery while enabling loved ones to maintain their primary roles as daughters, sons, partners, and parents.
